Larry Dale Brown was born on Aug. 21, 1948, in Metropolis, the son of Audrey (nee Belford )and Carl Brown.
He was the brother to three brothers and two sisters, Philip, Caroll, Lowell, Annabell and Karen.
He married his wife Debra (nee Yates) Brown on Oct. 10, 1981.
He lived most of his life in Anna and Vienna.
He is survived by his wife; a son David Brown; a daughter, Sara Buitrago; and four grandchildren, Tristan, Payton and William Brown and Julian Buitrago.
He died on July 27, 2021, in Southern California.
A memorial is being planned at the Lincoln Memorial Picnic Grounds in Jonesboro (the Jonesboro Park) at 1 p.m. on Aug. 14.
