LaVerne Gray

LaVerne Gray, 63, of Tamms, died at 7:49 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2020, at her home.

She was born on Sept. 11, 1957, in Paducah, the daughter of Rex Lee and Anna May Green Gray.

She had worked as a nurse aide.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, David, Homer “Musky,” Jeff and Harold Gray; and sisters Ellen Stough, Patricia Gray and Cindy Gray Anderson.

Survivors include her close friend and companion, Earl Price of Tamms; a brother, Richard Gray of Tamms; a sister, Bertha Gray of Florida; other relatives and friends.

Memorial services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms, with the Rev. Larry Buckles officiating.
