Linda Carol Hill

Linda Carol Hill, 62, of St. Augustine, Fla., died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2021, at the Bailey Center for Caring in St. Augustine. 

She had been a resident of St. Augustine for over 35 years. 

She was born on Aug. 9, 1959, in Anna, the daughter of Rollie E. and Edna May Davis Hill. 

She is survived by her daughter Lindsey; two granddaughters, Autumn and Aubrey, all of St. Augustine; her sisters, Jackie (Marshall) Burns, Debra Sharp and Rolla McFarland; brothers Todd and Dave Hill; her stepmom, Mabel Hill; nieces Sheila Burns, Sara Jokisck, Sydney and Jorden McFarland, Tiffany Moore and Julie Sharp; and two nephews, Wade Burns and Ryan Sharp. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Jeremy; and her brothers, Rodger, Jeff and Robert Hill.

She was a kind and gentle soul. 

A memorial gathering to celebrate the life of Linda Hill will be held from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, at the First Baptist Church in Anna, with the Rev. Les Sinks officiating. Inurnment will take place at McGinnis Cemetery at a later date. 

Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of local arrangements. 

Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Envelopes will be available at the church and funeral home.
