Linda Evans Schoonmaker
Linda Evans Schoonmaker, 66, of Ft. Myers, Fla., and formerly of Bradley, died Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at Hospice by the Sea in Boca Raton, Fla.
She was born April 30, 1951, in Anna, the daughter of Dallas and Gladys Sechrest Evans Bloodworth.
She married Michael Schoonmaker in May 1976.
She was a homemaker and was a very active volunteer in her community. While in Bradley, she was an active member of the PTA.
She is survived by a daughter, Lin (John) Falcone of Florida; sons Billy (Karen) Cook of California and James (Chrystal) Schoonmaker of Tennessee; stepdaughter Melissa Schoonmaker of Florida; 10 grandchildren; 10 brothers and sisters, Jean Nunumaker of Kankakee, Sharian Warner of Tennessee, Marilyn Miner of Arizona, Neal and Sherry Evans of Manteno, Curt and Laura Evans of Chicago Heights, Jeriann and Keith Heidtman of Michigan, Nicki and Greg Staples of Indiana, Kirby and Ida Evans of Arizona, Juani Evans of Michigan, and Lea and Randy Cotton of Bradley.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one niece.
Inurnment services for Linda Evans Schoonmaker will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, at McGinnis Cemetery, with Larry Buckles officiating.
Memorials can be made to any hospice organization.
