Linda Harris Ross

Linda Harris Ross, 79, of Cordova, Tenn., died Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at her home.

She was born on Feb. 15, 1944, in Anna, the daughter of Guy and Muriel Barnhart Harris. 

She married Jim Ross on Jan. 18, 1963, in Carbondale.

She is survived by her husband Jim Ross of Cordova, Tenn.; her children, Kevin (Jackie) Ross of Apollo Beach, Fla., Michelle (Craig) Olson of Gig Harbor, Wash., and Jason (Alicia) Ross of Memphis, Tenn.; grandchildren Alex Ross of Dallas, Texas, Noah Ross of Tampa, Fla., Ely Ross of Apollo Beach, Fla., Katheryn and Caroline Mitchell of Charlotte, N.C., Will Mitchell of Gig Harbor, Wash., and Erica Ross of Memphis, Tenn.; other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and by siblings Guy Harris Jr. and Ramona Almonrud.

Her greatest achievement was raising her three children into successful, responsible adults.  Besides being an excellent mother, wife and homemaker, she volunteered with the Memphis Exchange Club, taught others how to scrapbook, and owned and operated a residential lighting distributor showroom. Mrs. Ross was a member of the First Evangelical Church in Memphis, Tenn.

Graveside funeral services for Linda Ross will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, March 26, at the Anna Cemetery. Interment will follow. 

Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements. 

Memorials can be made to Mid-South Parkinson’s Disease Foundation and Support Group; 1512 Pine Shadows Dr., Memphis, Tenn. 38120. Envelopes will be available at the cemetery.
