Linda Kay Casey

Linda Kay Casey, 74, of Anna, died Sunday, July 11, 2021, at 11:47 a.m. at her residence.

She was born on June 20, 1947, in Vienna, the daughter of Paul C. and Dorothy Brown Rainbolt.  

She married Carroll Casey on Aug. 28, 1971.  

Mrs. Casey worked for the Anna National Bank for several years and retired from the Shawnee Correctional Center. She was co-owner of Casey-Goddard Oil Co and Casey Tire Center. 

She never met a stranger and had many great friends whom she considered as family. She was an avid thrift shopper and bird watcher. 

Survivors include her husband, Carroll Casey of Anna; four daughters, Julie (Jim) Ames, Sabra (Jim) Smith, Lesley (Ted) Johnson and Khrista (Robert) Lence; 12 grandchildren, Matt Ames, Amanda Pender, Maddie (Austin) Davidson, Ali (Dakota) Hutchison, Casey Howerton, Ethan Howerton, Jake (Ashton) Casey, Scarlett Carter, Christopher and Barry Johnson, Caleb and Aaron Lence, Clayton (Molly) Smith and Hunter (Alyssa) Smith; nine great-grandchildren, Aliyah and Paisley Casey, Tiffany Langly, Caitlin Ames, Scott Ames, Hunter Brown, Ashlyn Ames, Gavin Ames, Cooper English, Elliott Smith and Violet Hutchison; two brothers, Jim (Diane) Rainbolt and Roger (Jeanine) Rainbolt; one sister, Shirley Roesch; two sisters-in-law, Bonnie Goddard and Billie (Bill) Porter; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. 

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Terry Casey; her parents, Paul C. “Ted” and Dorothy Belle Rainbolt; a sister, Bonnie Camden; and a grandson, Scotti Ames.

Memorial services will be held at Crain Funeral Home in Anna on Sunday, Aug. 15, at 4 p.m., with Jay Franklin and Sally Dumas officiating. 

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until the time of the service. 

Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
