Lorrie A. Lessar

Lorrie A. Lessar, 57, of Tamms, died at 1:25 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

She was born on Sept. 29, 1964, in Anna, the daughter of Orville and Jo Ann Ramage Lessar. 

She was a member of Elco Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Orville Lessar, in 1989; a brother, Lee Lessar, in 2001; and brother-in-law, Jerry Ramsey.

Survivors include her mother, Jo Ann Lessar of Tamms; a sister, Marsha Ramsey of Tamms; aunts Rita Ramage of Tamms, Ann Rosson of Jonesboro, Verna Aden of Anna and Gladys Ramage of Olive Branch; special caregiver Brenda Durham of Tamms; other relatives and friends.

Graveside services were at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 22, at Mt. Olive-Meisenhelmer Cemetery in rural Dongola. The Rev. Buddy Walls officiated. Interment followed.

Jones Funeral Home Tamms was in charge of arrangements.
