Lucille Osman

Lucille Osman, 95, of Cairo, died at 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, at Daystar Nursing & Rehab in Cairo.

She was born on Sept. 21, 1921, in Cairo, the daughter of Virgil and Wilma Hock Hastings.

She married Karon Osman on Dec. 25, 1940. He preceded her in death on Jan. 30, 1987.

She was a member of Tigert Memorial United Methodist Church in Cairo.

She is survived by her sister, Rosalie Aldred of Tamms; and by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and a brother, William Hastings.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12, at Crain Funeral Home in Cairo, with the Rev. Doug Atkins officiating. Interment was in the McGinnis Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to Tigert Memorial United Methodist Church.
