Marilyn L. Sadler

Marilyn L. Sadler, 84, of Anna, died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2023, at her home. 

She was born on Nov. 28, 1938, in Union County, the daughter of Eugene and Louise High Sadler. 

She married Jerry “Bud” Sadler on Jan. 27, 1960, in Jonesboro. He preceded her in death on Sept. 25, 2012.

She is survived by two daughters, Doris (Mitch) Miller and Darlene (Kenny) Landis, all of Anna; four grandchildren, Dusty (Hillary) Miller, Adam (Leah) Landis, Evan Landis and Ellie Miller; four great-grandchildren, Hallie and Blakely Miller and Hudson and Bentley Landis; a sister, Judy Stowe of Bradley; three brothers, Richard (Kathy) Sadler and Charlie Sadler, all of Bradley, and Mike (Kathy) Sadler of Kimberling City, Mo.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and by two brothers, Bill and Harold Sadler.

Mrs. Sadler was a member of New Hope Church. She was a very active member of her church and a faithful Christian lady who shared her love of the Lord with others.

Funeral services for Marilyn Sadler were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, with the Rev. Paul Sadler and the Rev. Mike Miller officiating. 

Private interment will take place at a later date at Ebenezer Hall Cemetery. Memorials can be made to New Hope Church.
