Melba Lee Nork

Melba Lee Nork, 89, of Cobden, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2020, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born on Jan. 9, 1931, in Omaha, Neb., the daughter of Clearence and Viola Goettsch Shadlow. 

She is survived by her children, Diane Ramero of Salinas, Calif., Jerry Roche of South Carolina, Ronnie Roche of California, Bob Roche, Joann Marks of Cobden, Shanna Walker of California and Bethenie Nork; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Carol Kleespies of Iowa; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Eugene Charles Roche, James Milton Walker and Heldur Nork; a son, Larry Walker; and two brothers, Craig and Gary Shadlow.

Graveside funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 31, at the Alto Pass Cemetery, with Pastor Tim Gossett officiating. Inurnment will immediately follow.
