Mildred ‘Millie’ Etherton

Mildred “Millie” Etherton, 54, of Westmount, and formerly of Anna, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.

She was born on July 28, 1963, in Carbondale, the daughter of Ronald Dean and Mildred Deloris Hoyle Stanley.

She is survived by her son, Marcus Etherton of North Aurora; nine siblings, Rondal Dean Stanley Jr. of Cobden, Janis Lynn (Kenneth) Dunn of Murphysboro, Terry Allen (Donna) Stanley of Cobden, Julie Ann (Spencer) McDonald of Scottsbluff, Neb., Karen Faye (Roger) Gardner of Jonesboro, Sheila Marie (David) Rexroat of Chesterfield, Mo., Shelly Gaye Parker of Scottsbluff, Neb., Juanita Lucille (Billie) Plott of Anna and Beth Renee Patterson of Ware; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She attended the First Baptist Church in Anna before she moved to Westmont. She was an avid reader of fiction and romance novels. She enjoyed watching movies of all kinds.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, with Pastor John Stanley officiating. Cremation followed.

Memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
