Murray Rickliffe Choate
Murray Rickliffe Choate, 90, of Charleston, died Friday, June 14, 2019, while at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at Wesley United Methodist Church, 2206 Fourth St., in Charleston.
Funeral services to honor and celebrate his life will begin at 6 p.m., immediately following, visitation with the Rev. Janice Kahl officiating and with Masonic Services conducted by members and guests of Charleston Masonic Lodge No. 35 AF & AM.
Burial, with military honors, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 24, at the Anna City Cemetery in Anna.

Mr. Choate was born on July 8, 1928, in Anna, Illinois, the only child of Murray M. and Mary Aden Choate.
He married the love of his life, Frances C. Waller, on Oct. 4, 1952. She preceded him in death exactly 66 years later, on Oct. 4, 2018.
Mr. Choate is survived by a son, Rick Choate, and wife Virginia; and grandchildren, Aden, Isaac, Simon and Hannah Choate, all of Charleston; along with several nieces and nephews and their families.
