Nadine Adams, 78, of Anna, passed away to her heavenly home at 3 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 22, 2021, at the Deaconess Hospital in Newburgh, Ind.
She was born on Nov. 14, 1942, in Anna, the daughter of Paul and Mary Verble Womick.
She is survived by a brother, Dennis Womick of Anna; a sister, Sharon Farris of Dongola; a sister-in-law, Darla (Bruce) Womick-Blanchett of Anna; a nephew, Chris (Mindy) Farris and their children Bryson and Zak of Lincoln; nieces Brianna Womick-Linville of Anna and Mary (Jake) Knight and their children Mayli, Aden and Asher of Anna; a special friend, John Paul Allen of Charleston, Mo.; many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Paul David Womick; and a brother-in-law Dale A. Farris.
She was the owner of Fashion Hair Design beauty shop in Anna for many years. She was also co-owner, with her brother, of Womick Disposal in Anna.
She was a long-time member of the Anna First Baptist Church. She enjoyed attending church services, Bible studies and could be found at church every time the doors were open. She enjoyed singing in the choir and working in the nursery. Wherever she was needed she would help out.
A celebration of her life was held at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27, at the Anna First Baptist Church, with Pastor Dennis Mohr officiating. Interment was in the Anna Cemetery.
