Nadine Robins

Nadine Robins, 97, of Anna, died Monday, Sept. 12, 2022, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born on Sept. 8, 1925, in Cairo, the daughter of Ruel A. and Edna Lee Faries Lingle. 

She married James R. “Bob” Robins on Nov. 27, 1947. He preceded her in death on June 1, 1989.

Mrs. Robins was a graduate of Anna-Jonesboro Community High School  in the class of 1943. She went on to become the senior vice president of First National Bank in Libertyville, until her retirement in 1984. She enjoyed traveling and spent many years doing so.  

She is survived by her brother, R.A. Lingle of Anna; a sister, Brenda (Ken) Kapper of St. Charles, Mo.; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James R. Robins; and a brother, Gilbert Lingle.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Entombment was in the Anna Cemetery.
