Naomi Davis
Naomi Davis, 99, of Anna, died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021, at Wabash Christian Village in Carmi.
She was born on Dec. 9, 1921, in Buncombe, the daughter of Tull E. and Dovie Thomas Perry.
She married Homer Mangrum. He preceded her in death in 1975. She later married Lester Davis. He preceded her in death on March 4, 2004.
Mrs. Davis was a devoted Christian. She loved her family and Jesus and became a prayer warrior when called upon.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Kim Langley, Sasha Mangrum and Seve Mangrum; great-grandchildren Jack Langley and Ally Langley; a sister, Martha Cawthon of Evansville, Ind.; a sister-in-law, Wanda Perry of Jonesboro; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands, Homer Mangrum and Lester Davis; a son, Jerry Michael “Mike” Mangrum; three brothers, Bob, Dave and Van Perry; and two sisters, Josephine Faulkner and Cecile Craig.
Graveside funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, at the Cobden Cemetery, with the Rev. Cliff Perry officiating. Interment immediately followed.
