Noma Louise Dodson

Noma Louise Dodson, 85, of Thebes, died at 8:39 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, 2023, at her residence.

She was born on May 2, 1937, in Alexander County, the daughter of Elliot and Ella Dora Robinson Sanders.

She was a member of Alexander Freewill Baptist Church in Olive Branch. She was a housewife and homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond E. Dodson; and three sons, Dale Dodson Sr., Michael R. Dodson and Roger Dodson.

Survivors include two sons, Frank (Marsha) Dodson and Monty (Carla) Dodson; a daughter-in-law, Sheila Dodson; a brother, Arthur (Nancy) Bledsoe; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren;  nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 30, at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms. Pastor Curt Alderson officiated. Interment followed in Rose Hill Cemetery in Thebes.
