Oliva Lopez Carmona

Oliva Lopez Carmona, 90, of Alto Pass, died Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale. 

She was born on May 15, 1930, in Ojo de Agua, Mexico, the daughter of Jose and Maria Guadalupe Carmona Lopez. 

She is survived by her children, Maria Guadalupe (J. Luz) Rosas, Ma. Elena (Izidro) Carmona, Memoria (Reynaldo) Calderon, Nicolas (Ofelia) Carmona, Eliceo (Cecilia) Carmona, Esmeraldo (Oralia) Carmona, David (Maricela) Carmona, Pastor (Alicia) Carmona, Izidra (Marin) Carmona, Miguel (Carolina) Carmona, Maria Raquel (Rogelio) Hernandez, Carmel (Esther) Carmona, J. Luz (Carmela) Carmona, Olivia (Izidoro) Mendez, and J. Antonio (Ma. Elia) Carmona. She was blessed with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and  by her husband, David Carmona. 

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cobden. 

Interment will take place at a later date in Panteon Municipal de Santiago in Maravatio, Guanajuato, Mexico.
