Pamela Rae Dudek Hudson

Pamela Rae Dudek Hudson, 67, of Anna, died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022, at her home. 

She was born on Aug. 13, 1955, in Gary, Ind., the daughter of Edward Francis and Adeline Frances Korczyk Dudek. 

Pamela Dudek married Richard Hudson on May 14, 1976.

She is survived by her  husband, Richard Hudson of Anna; siblings Cynthia Dudek (Neth Hass) of Anna, Michael (Julie) Dudek of Anna and Susan Dudek (Ike Mezo) of Waukegan; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. 

She worked as a licensed clinical laboratory technician for many years. She and Richard lived in Indiana, Florida and North Carolina before retiring to Southern Illinois in 2018 to be closer to family. 

She will be missed by Sammie, her beloved Golden Doodle and her cats, Maddison and Annabelle. 

She was authentically and wholeheartedly there for all those in her life. She loved cooking for her family, especially her award-winning brownies. She also enjoyed many forms of arts and crafts and decorating for the holidays.
