Pauline Lacey Moore

Pauline Lacey Moore, 89, of Mounds, died Monday, Oct. 18, 2021, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born on Dec. 20, 1931, the daughter of William and Ruth Hill Lacey in Olive Branch. 

She married Richard Moore. He preceded her in death on Aug. 11, 1971. After being widowed at the age of 39, she devoted her life to be a loving mother and raising her two sons. 

Survivors are her son, Glenn (Janet) Moore; four grandchildren Ruby Nicole (Moore) Jones, Glenn Allen (Amy) Moore Jr., Stephanie Lynn Moore and Collin Moore; a brother, Jim Lacey; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Frank Warren Moore; and 10 siblings, Clara Lou, Mary Jo, Roy, Frank, Amel, Edna, John, Arvil, Fred and Ed. 

Per her wishes, there will be no public services held, and the family will host their own private memorial service.
