Richard Carpe, 84, of Dongola, died on Aug. 22, 2018, at his home.
He was born on Nov. 25, 1933, in Hammond, Ind., the son of John Earl and Anna Carpe.
He is survived by two nieces, Peggy Carpe and Sandy Carpe, both of California, and by all of his friends at Lincoln Square. He was preceded in death by his parents and by one brother, Leroy Carpe.
Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Interment was in Jonesboro Cemetery.
