Rita Faye Poole

Rita Faye Poole, 61, of Anna, died Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born on June 12, 1955, in Sterling, the daughter of Clifford Poole and Shirley Crouch Poole.

She was an extremely talented musician and singer.

She is survived by her three sons, Shawn (Pamela) Lyerla of Naylor, Mo., Matt (Katie) Lyerla of Paducah, and Ryan Degen of Sikeston, Mo.; one brother, Bob (Karen) Poole of Montclair, Va.; two sisters, Toni McClain and Sherry Lemons, both of Anna; nine grandchildren, Maggie Lyerla, Colby Lyerla, Gracey Lyerla, Lauren Lyerla, Mason Lyerla, Scooby Lyerla, Ollie Lyerla and Brayden and Madelynn Degen; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside inurnment services at St. John’s Cemetery near Dongola will be at 1 p.m. Friday, June 2. Friends are asked to gather at the cemetery.
