Robert (Bob) Lewis Stanley

Robert (Bob) Lewis Stanley, 77, of Dongola, died at 2:56 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at home, with his family by his side.

He was born on May 30, 1943, in Anderson, Ind., the son of Albert and Hazel Stanley.  

He married Janice Sivia on March 2, 1994, in Anderson, Ind.

Mr. Stanley was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dongola. He was a construction worker until becoming disabled later in life.

Survivors include his wife, Janice; stepchildren Stanley (Leslie) Treat of Dongola, Steven (Rita) Treat of Pinckneyville and Jana (Shawn) Williamson of Dongola; 10 step-grandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren; two aunts; nieces, nephews and cousins; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, church families and special friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a brother-in-law.

Services were private. Ron Thorn officiated.
