Ronald Coomes

Ronald Coomes, 76, of Jonesboro, died Monday, June 6, 2022, at the Cobden Rehab and Nursing Center. 

He was born on Nov. 17, 1945, in Cairo, the son of Dan and Wilhelmina Julia Marie Sauerbrunn Coomes.

Mr. Coomes is survived by his daughter, Ronda Coomes of Vienna; brothers Cliff (Linda) Waller of Alto Pass, Donald (Lou) Coomes of Portage De Sioux and James (Vonnie) Laskaris of Oregon; other relatives and many friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother, Richard Snyder.

Mr. Coomes was of the Baptist faith and loved going to church. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time. 

Services will be at a later date and interment will be in the Anna Cemetery.
