Ronald L. Cunningham
Ronald L. Cunningham, 83, of Anna, died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2022, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born on July 22, 1939, in Chicago, the son of John and Doris Mitchell Cunningham.
He loved to watch westerns and country movies, mostly the ones with John Wayne and Chuck Norris. He liked to help in the garden, especially by eating all of the tomatoes. Ronald also enjoyed shopping at Walmart, taking Snapchat pictures,and visiting the koi pond at his home. He loved helping with children and was an all-around great guy. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Survivors include a sister, Connie Foster of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a niece, Melissa (Michael) Lamy of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a great-niece, Alyssa Lamy of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a special lady in his life, Anne; and several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister, Jackie Cottrel.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, at Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro, with Lindsey Pippin officiating. Interment followed in the Anna City Cemetery.
Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro was in charge of arrangements.
