Russell D. Fairless
Russell D. Fairless, 77, of Jonesboro, died at 11:46 a.m. Friday, March 30, 2018, at the Jonesboro Rehab Center.
He was born on Jan. 12, 1941, in Vienna, the son of Noah Dale and Violet Pauline Russell Fairless.
He is survived by his children, Marty (Loretta) Fairless and Marvin Fairless, all of Jonesboro; five grandchildren, Rusty Fairless, Kelsea Fairless and fiance, Nick Harvel, Kendra Fairless, Kaylie Fairless and Hayden Young; one great-grandchild, Kensley, and one on the way; sister Iva Lee Fegan of Harrison, Ark., Nellie Medley, Annette McBride and Paula Roberts, all of Vienna; one brother; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and by two brothers, Robert Fairless and Paul Dean Fairless.
He loved to go hunting and fishing. He worked for the Illinois Central Railroad and retired after 20 years building and working on bridges.
Graveside services for Russell Dale Fairless were at 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 2, with the Rev. Clark Short officiating. Interment was in Casper Cemetery near Anna.
