Ruth Reynolds

Ruth Reynolds, 73, of Cobden, died at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Integrity Healthcare of Anna.

She was born on Jan. 26, 1944, in Cobden, the daughter of Clifford W. and Evelyn Virginia Linton Nance.

She married Donald Gene “Poncho” Reynolds on March 31, 1964, in Anna. He preceded her in death on March 6, 1995.

She is survived by her six children, Marsha Kessner of Cobden, Katrina (Kenny) Henderson of Mounds, Corey Reynolds of Paducah, Kiley Reynolds of Cobden, Dawn (Manuel) Martinez of Princeton, Ind., and Amber (Aaron) Martin of Anna; seven grandchildren, Timmy (fiancee Renee) Dickerson, Jessica Reynolds, Brittany Henderson, Braden Martinez, Genia Martinez, Daniel Santos and Isaiah Martin; one great-grandchild, Libby Henderson; two brothers, James (Kristen) Nance of Anna and Wayne (Christine) Nance of Kell; many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and by her husband, Donald Gene “Poncho” Reynolds.

She was a life-long member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Cobden. She loved reading mystery and romance novels, and going to yard sales. Her family said everyone will remember her for her love of laughter and smile.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Reynolds were at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, at the Cobden Cemetery, with the Rev. Mike Miller officiating. Interment was in the Cobden Cemetery.
