Shelby Palmer
Shelby Palmer, 80, of Anna, died Thursday, March 23, 2017, in Carbondale.
Mrs. Palmer was born in Vienna, on May 5, 1936, a daughter of Everett and Ruth Morris Darnell.
She and her husband, Bob, have been residents of Anna for many years. She was a homemaker with a passion for interior decorating and it was evident when visitors entered her home
Memorial services were conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28, at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna, with the Rev. Curtis Craig officiating.
Survivors include her husband, Bob of Anna; two daughters and one son-in-law, Brenda and Dan Parr of Murphysboro and Jill Rendleman of Anna; one son, Brad Palmer of Perryville, Mo.; five grandchildren, Jamie (Lisa) Edwards of Palm Coast, Fla., Kelly (Lance) Richter of Bossier City, La., Samantha (Bill) Krieger of Murphysboro, Ryan Palmer of Perryville, Mo., and Emily Fisher of Jackson, Mo.; two great-grandchildren, Jenna Richter and fiance Claude Daniel of Bossier City, La., and Hanna Edwards of Palm Coast, Fla.; one sister, Roma (Rudy) Boester of Marion; and other relatives and friends.
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
Crawshaw Funeral Home in Murphysboro was in charge of arrangements.
