Shelly Mary Nimmo

Shelly Nimmo, 43, of Anna, died Saturday, May 25, 2019. 

She was born on May 30, 1975, in Carbondale, the daughter of Weldon Ray and Diann Adkisson Nimmo.

She is survived by her two sons, Sheldon and Nicholas McGrath, both of Anna; her mother, Diann Nimmo of Anna; her maternal grandmother, Estalee Adkisson of Jonesboro, Ark.; sisters Lisa (Steve) Applegate of Gardner, Kan. and Sherri (Chandler) Parr of Lick Creek; brothers John (Sara) Nimmo of Jonesboro and Tim (Rachel) Nimmo of Hendersonville, Tenn.; nieces Kelly (Rob) Ruehl of Edwardsville, Wendy (Adam) Mays of Dongola, Dusty Lee of Gardner, Kan., Brooke (Chris) Benefield of Cobden and Chandra (Hunter) Englehart of Rockport, Ind.; nephews Rusty Lee of Dongola, Zachary Parr of Lick Creek, Garrett Nimmo of Jonesboro and Jake Parr of Lick Creek; many other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Weldon Ray Nimmo; paternal grandparents Booten and Polly Nimmo and maternal grandfather Woody Adkisson. 

She loved going to the beach and being outdoors. She enjoyed fast cars, watching movies, spending time with her two sons and all of her family.

Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 2, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, with the Rev. Carl Dillow officiating.
