Shirley Jean Keller

Shirley Jean Keller, 81, of Anna, died at 8:29 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2017, at the Jonesboro Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.

She was born on April 4, 1936, in McClure, the daughter of Daniel Joseph and Pearl Eva Miller Schlenker.

She is survived by her sons, Kent (Anne) Keller of Tavares, Fla., and Mark Keller of Dongola; daughters Martha (Chuck) Harvel of Tamms and Kelly (Bill) Miller of Anna; grandchildren Scott (Heidi) Harvel of Cape Girardeau, Shae (Derek) Williams of Anna, Ashley (Adam) Keller of Apopka, Fla., Travis Williams and Timothy (Maegan) Keller, all of Dongola, Sarah Gibson of Florida, Sam (Bethany) Harvel of Jonesboro, and Megan and Jason Miller of Anna; great-grandchildren Lacey Hunt, Colbie Jackson, Ryan Johnson, Jaxon Moutell, Abigail, Ethan and Persephone Gibson, Hadassah Harvel, Zipporah Harvel, Havilah Harvel and Napthali Harvel; two sisters, Mildred McDonald of Alton and Beatrice Miller of Anna; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Randal Keller; and three brothers, Adam, Levi and Wardell Schlenker.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Anna for many years. She was a graduate in the Anna-Jonesboro Community High School class of 1953. She worked at the Florsheim Shoe Factory for 37 years.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, with the Rev. Les Sinks officiating. Interment was in the Anna Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to the First Baptist Church of Anna.
