Shirley V. Maloy

Shirley Maloy, 82, of Cobden, died at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, April 1, 2018, at Union County Hospital.

She was born on Oct. 6, 1935, in Union County, the daughter of John F. and Ethel Norris Sanders.

She married Gary Maloy in 1982 in Makanda.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Maloy of Cobden; a daughter, Cheryl (John) Lehr of Cobden; sons Lonnie Bobb of Cape Girardeau, and Ronnie Bobb of Cobden; two grandchildren, Joshua Bobb and Brittany Howell; two great-grandchildren, Jeffery Kade Lence and Reece Nicole-Kay Lence; a cousin, Larry (Sandy) Norris; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by one sister, Jane Roberts.

She was an avid bingo player.

Funeral services for Shirley Maloy will be at 1 p.m. Monday, April 9, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden. Friends can call after 11 a.m. and until the service hour at 1 p.m. Monday, April 9, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden.
