Steven D. Lawrence

Steven D. Lawrence, 57, of Cobden, died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017, at his home.

He was born on Jan. 2, 1960, the son of Randal L. Lawrence Jr. and Mary E. Sadler Lawrence.

He is survived by his nephew, Adam (Nikki) Lawrence of Rosiclare; nieces Elizabeth Lawrence of Anna and Samantha Sheffield of New Brighton, Pa.; seven great-nieces and nephews, Ruby Lawrence, Joshua Sheffield Jr., Jeriah, Jair and Sarai Sheffield, Addie and Chale Lawrence; sisters-in-law Linda Lawrence of Cambria and Danon Austin Lawrence of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; other relatives and many friends he considered family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and by his brothers, Richard H. Lawrence, Randal “Randy” Lawrence III and Robert Lawrence.

He had been an employee at Choate Mental Heath and Developmental Center in Anna since 2005.

Memorial services were at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden. Interment was in the Cobden Cemetery.
