Steven Ray Glasco

Steven Ray Glasco, 61, of Dongola, died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2019, at Carbondale Memorial Hospital.

He was born on July 30, 1958, in Anna, the son of Vernon Ray Glasco and Patricia Joan Robertson Glasco.

Mr. Glasco was a graduate of Cobden High School. He was an over-the-road trucker for Greg’s Truck Service for many years. He was a volunteer firefighter for the Dongola Fire Department and was an avid woodworker and worked on motorcycles. He had attended The Spark in McClure and enjoyed their services.

He is survived by his wife, Tina Ann Glasco of Dongola; a daughter, Lisa (Joseph) Taylor of San Antonio, Texas; a son, Cory Glasco (Julie Hunter) of Anna; daughters Katy (Travis) Poole of Elco, Demi Glasco of Anna, Hannah (Alex) Pulliam of Anna, Samantha Pulliam of Anna, Danielle Pulliam of Anna and Kimberly Hancock of Dongola; his parents, Vernon and Patricia Glasco of Anna; a sister, Verna (Larry) Fuller of Cobden, nine grandchildren, Jasmine Taylor, Amy Glasco, Jessica Glasco, Brienna Hunter, Scott Glasco, Jackie Taylor, Eliana Tellor, Madison Tellor, Willow Pulliam and Alexander Steven Ray Tellor, who is soon to arrive; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Mr. Glasco was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Rebecca Ann Glasco and Jayden Taylor; his grandparents, Jesse and Dorothy Glasco, Charles and Bertha Robertson; his mother-in-law, Pauline Pulliam, and Katy’s and Demi’s mother, Heather Massey Glasco.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, at Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro. The Rev. Bob Richardson officiated. Burial was in Ebenezer Hall Cemetery at Lick Creek.
