Terry L. Reynolds

Terry L. Reynolds, 71, of Jonesboro, died Monday, July 5, 2021, at his home. 

He was born on March 11, 1950, in Anna, the son of Carroll Lee and Mary Lou Kaempfor Reynolds. 

He married Linda Haynes on Nov. 22, 1997, in Carterville. 

Mr. Reynolds is survived by his wife, Linda Egley-Reynolds of Jonesboro; his mother, Mary Lou Reynolds of Jonesboro; daughters Leslie (Jack) Doublin of Dongola and Lisa (Marty) Penrod of Buncombe; step-daughters Andrea (Shawn) Campbell of Elkhorn, Wis., Christine Egley-Rashkow of Chicago and Bethany Egley (fiancé Brett Votava) of Kansas City, Mo.; six grandchildren, Dylan Campbell, Cory Penrod, Austin Doublin, Sebastian Krako, Keva Rashkow and Jack Votava; one great-granddaughter, Stevie Campbell; one brother, John Paul Reynolds of Jonesboro; nieces and nephews; numerous cousins; other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his father; and three brothers, Richard Don, Danny and James William Reynolds. 

Mr. Reynolds served in the U.S. Air Force as an air traffic control man. 

Early in his career, he was an over the road truck driver for Morgan Company, and later he owned and operated Reynolds Service Company in Jonesboro for nearly 30 years. He was very dedicated to his work and was a wonderful loving husband and father.

A memorial visitation was held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, July 9, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Interment will be private at a later date. 

Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
