Thelma Dolores Stanley

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. Following a lengthy battle of dementia, Thelma Dolores Stanley passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2023, 90 years old.

She will be dearly missed by many, especially her children: Audrey (John) Henard, Jimmy Stanley Jr., David (Karen) Stanley, John (Jamie) Stanley, Carletta Stanley, Danny (Heather) Stanley, Patty (Quint) Dunn and Nola (Glen) Klett, and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

She was preceded in death by daughter Katherine Elizabeth Stanley, grandson Jeremy Stanley, grandson Benjamin Stanley and her parents.

 Thelma Dolores Stanley was a nurse’s aide for many years at Union County Hospital. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Cobden.

There will be no services. Private family inurnment will be in the spring at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Jackson County, Illinois.

Expressions of sympathy may be given to the donor’s choice in memory of Thelma Dolores Stanley.
