Zachary Cole Poole

Zachary Cole Poole, 23, of Jonesboro, died Saturday, April 17, 2021. 

He was born on March 2, 1998, in Cape Girardeau, the son of Michael and Mary Robinson Poole. 

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Mary Poole and Kenneth Laster of Jonesboro; his father and stepmother, Michael and Julie Poole of Elco; maternal grandmother Kathryn Robinson of Jonesboro; paternal grandparents Steve and Glenda Burgess of Olive Branch; a brother, Joshua Poole, and a sister, Mya Laster, both of Jonesboro; a stepbrother, Joshua Dailey, and a stepsister, Brittany Dailey, both of Elco; aunts and uncles, Michael, Tim, Beth, Lora Robinson, Ann Coleman, Jamie (Dawn) Poole, Billy (Debbie) Poole, Becky (Billy) Nale, Monica (Michael) Honey and Joel (Rena) McHarry; great-grandmother Evelyn Fore; and many other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William T. “Tom” Robinson III and Jimmy L. and Josephine Poole. 

He attended the Elco Baptist Church. He loved people and never knew a stranger. He was an avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing and riding the four-wheeler. 

Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Friday, April 23, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, with Lacy Betts officiating. 

Friends can call after 5 p.m. and until the service hour at 7 p.m. Friday, April 23, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. 

Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. 

Everyone attending will be required to wear face coverings and to observe social distancing guidelines.
