Pamela Kay Dover

Pamela Kay Brust Dover, 59, of Villa Ridge, and formerly of Mound City, died at 5:52 p.m. Friday, Dec. 25, 2009, at her home.

She was born on Aug. 5, 1950, in Cairo, the daughter of Wilbur Harold Brust and Dorothy Helen Neeley Brust.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Ladies Sodality, both in Mound City.

She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Villa Ridge. She was past president of the Mound City Woman’s Club.

She was a former member of the Eastern Star chapter in Olive Branch.

She was a former employee of the First National Bank in Cairo. She was a former clerk for the Pulaski County circuit clerk’s office in Mound City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and by an infant son, Charles Edward Dover, in 1969.

Survivors include her husband, Harry C. Dover of Villa Ridge; two daughters, Cindy (David) Helton and Ruthie Dover, all of Villa Ridge; two grandsons, Wyatt and D.J. Helton; a step-granddaughter, Lindsey Helton; aunts and uncles, Ray and Thelma Brust, Wanda Throgmorton, Ronnie Brust, Thelma Gardner, Thomas and Ray Neeley.

Funeral services were at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge. Father John Agbasiere officiated. Burial was in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in  Mounds.

A prayer service was at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28, at the funeral home. The Rev. John Windings officiated.
