Reba June Walker

Reba June Walker, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Cobden, Illinois, passed away at her home on Saturday, January 12, following an extended illness.

She was born June 3, 1938 in Eldorado, Illinois in Saline County to the parents of Ray and Romayne Barker. While enlisted in the United States Air Force, she married Roger Lee Walker of Collinsville, Texas on March 15, 1958.  She was preceded in death by her parents, five siblings, her husband, and youngest daughter, Tracy Denise.

Survivors include a brother, Rex Barker and family of East Cape, Illinois; daughters Crystal Cerny of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Trina Fear of Richardson, Texas; six grandchildren, Mark Cerny of Cobden, Illinois, Adam Cerny of Loretto, Minnesota, Specialist, United States Army Aaron Cerny of Fort Benning, Georgia, and James, Tracy, and Suzanne Fear all of Richardson, Texas, and many other family members and friends.

At her request, there will be a private internment of her remains in Texas where her husband and daughter are buried.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests and Reba desired, that donations be made to the Arthritis National Research Foundation at 200 Oceangate, Suite 830, Long Beach, CA 90802 or on-line at http://curearthritis.org

Arrangements were made and cremation was accorded by McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
