Robert “Eddie” Eads

Mr. Robert “Eddie” Eads, age 84 of Cobden, died at 9:05 a.m. Monday, December 16, 2013 in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. He was born February 12, 1929 in Little Rock, AR, the son of Ely Mack and Lilly Warren Eads.

         Eddie is survived by his children, Donna (Jimmy) Mount of Anna, Robert Eads Jr. of Cobden, Larry Ray Eads of Cobden, Patti (Greg) Jackson of Anna, Bill (Yvonne) Eads of Cobden, Roger (Lisa) Eads of Anna and David Wayne Eads of Cobden; eight grandchildren, Lisa (Marty) Penrod, Leslie (Jack) Doublin, Erika (Josh) Wheaton, Chad (Brandy) Eads, Aaron (Joline) Eads, Jessica (Troy) Matlock, Sara (Jacob) Livesay, Matthew (Sara) Verble; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard (Pat) Eads of Unity Point; his children’s mother, Ellen Eads of Anna; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Teresa Nadine Verble; twins, James and Julie Eads; two sisters and five brothers.

         Eddie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cobden.

         Services for Mr. Robert “Eddie” Eads will be held privately.
