School supplies
The Future Teachers Organization, FTO, at Shawnee Community College near Ullin conducted an annual school supply drive as a new academic year got underway.
As part of the drive, the FTO issued a Pack-A-Backpack Challenge to all full-time faculty and staff at the college.

The Auxiliary to Veterans of Foreign Wars Carroll P. Foster Post No. 3455 plans to host a school supply “give away” for needy children on Sunday, Aug. 14, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. (or while supplies last) at the post home at 70 VFW Ln., Anna.
The children need to be present when picking up supplies...
