SMART plans to increase Anna service

SMART is planning to increase its Anna shuttle service.

Beginning Monday, Dec. 21, hours of operation will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The shuttle will not be in operation on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.

The cost for the shuttle service is $1 for each time a person boards.

The driver also will have on hand shuttle-specific monthly passes.

Due to the increase in days of operation, a senior pass will be $15 per month.

For those under the age of 60, a monthly pass fee is $25.
