Smoking rights at veterans' club

To the editor,
It is a shame a veteran can not smoke in his own veterans' club.
I know of a veteran who was a POW in World War II who has to stay outide his veterans' club to have a smoke. Is this justice? No. No.
People who support this no smoking law should be made to go to the next conflict or war and see what it is to give his or her time to defend other person's rights.
You are not compelled to go in to a club of such, so if you do not like the surroundings don't go to the club.
