Blue Dolphins compete at Larry Jukes Memorial Invitational in Mt. Vernon

The Anna Blue Dolphins swim team competed at the Larry Jukes Memorial Invitational in Mt. Vernon on June 15.

The invitational was an all-freestyle event. Each swimmer competed in various distance freestyle events.

Blue Dolphin swimmers who attended the meet included:

Sophie Barnhart, Callysta Borders, Katryna Borders, Sabryna Borders, Trystan Borders, Leah Buchheit, Adam Clark, Jenna Clark, Megan Clark, Caprice Conder, Darcy Conder, Lydia Conder, JJ Dallas, Luke Dallas, Isabella Hawk, Maggie Johnson, Aden Lingle, Kinley Lingle, Jamison Marggraf, Michael Marggraf and Christian Thompson. 

All 21 swimmers earned the Anna Blue Dolphins team points by placing in the top 10 in their event. 

Sophie Barnhart had the biggest improvement in her time by dropping 30.47 seconds on her 100 freestyle event.

Blue Dolphins swimmers who placed in the top three at the meet included:

Sabryna Borders:3rd place in women’s 6 & under 25 freestyle and 50 freestyle.

Trystan Borders: 3rd place in men’s 7 50 freestyle and 7 25 freestyle.

Adam Clark: 2nd place in men’s 11 50 freestyle and 11 25 freestyle.

Jenna Clark: 3rd place in women’s 16 50 freestyle and 16 25 freestyle.

Caprice Conder: 3rd place in women’s 16 100 freestyle.

Darcy Conder: 1st place in women’s 16 25 women’s freestyle and 2nd place in women’s 16 100 freestyle and 16 50 freestyle.

J.J. Dallas: 2nd place in men’s 6 & under 25 freestyle. 

Luke Dallas: 1st place in men’s 7 50 freestyle and 2nd in 7 25 freestyle.

Bella Hawk: 1st place in women’s 11 50 freestyle and 11 25 freestyle.

Jamison Marggraf: 1st place in men’s 6 & under 50 freestyle and 6 & under 25 freestyle.

Michael Marggraf: 2nd place in men’s 8 50 freestyle and 8 25 freestyle.

Christian Thompson: 3rd place in men’s 11 50 freestyle and 11 25 freestyle.
