Logan baseball plans to host Showcase

The John A. Logan College baseball team plans to host its annual Showcase at the college’s baseball field  in Carterville on Wednesday, June 29.

Cost is $30 for those who register in advance and $35 on the day of the event. 

Any player who is attending high school is eligible to attend the Showcase. Players need to bring gloves and spikes.

Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. on the day of the event. Baseball activities begin at 11 a.m.

Players will be timed in the 60-yard sprint. There will also be batting practice and bullpen sessions, as well as defensive evaluations.
