New coaches at Shawnee

Rachel Griffin will be the new Shawnee Junior High School softball coach this season.
Nicole Derossett will be her assistant coach.
Griffin succeeds Shanna Pender, who resigned from coaching junior high softball at the most recent Shawnee School Board meeting.
Jaycee Pender, a former Anna-Jonesboro Community High School athlete, was hired as an assistant volleyball coach.
