Pender to coach Shawnee junior high softball

Shanna Pender will take over coaching the softball team at Shawnee Junior High School in Wolf Lake this fall.

Pender, who is also the junior high school girls’ track coach, succeeds Russ Marsh, who recently resigned from coaching junior high school softball at the school.

Pender, who is a teacher at the school, is also the girls’ high school basketball coach.
