A ribbon cutting was held to commemorate the opening of an additional nine holes at the Cobden Community Park’s disc golf course. Union County resident John Wingate cut the ribbon. Wingate has led efforts to develop disc golf courses in Cobden and at the Anna City Park. He was joined by Cobden American Legion Post representatives David Stewart, Gene Horn (post adjutant), Earnest Newton (post chaplain) and Mark Haddick (post commander).
