Susie Isabel Earnhart Tripp Batson

<strong>Mrs. Susie Isabel Earnhart Tripp Batson, age 95 of Anna, died at 8:08 a.m. Monday, December 3, 2012 at her home in Anna. She was born July 26, 1917 in Wolf Lake, the daughter of Elijah and Anna Cordolla Smoot Earnhart. She married Ernest F. Tripp in 1934 in Anna, he preceded her in death on October 7, 1978. Later she married Ralph O. Batson in June of 1981; he preceded her in death in 1989.</strong>

<strong>         Susie is survived by her two daughter, Janet (Don) Verble of Jonesboro and Betty Jane Lorton of South Bend, IN; three sons, Tom (Carolyn) Tripp of Anna, Jerry (Jerry Lynn) Tripp of Royalton, IL, Garry (Darlene) Tripp of Houston, TX; seventeen grandchildren, Donnie Verble, Joy (Dave) Roberts, Vicki Lingle, Kelley (Fred) Wallace, Mike Tripp, Bruce Lorton, Mary Jane (Jeff) Daum, Elizabeth (Jeff) Gramza, Karen Lorton-Vella (Joe), Kevin (Carey) Lorton, Heather (Dickie) Reynolds, Hillary Tripp, Tristan (Jordan) Tripp, Amber Tripp, Johnathon Tripp, Christian Tripp; twenty eight great grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren; daughter in law, Carlene Tripp of Anna; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; oldest son, Donald E. Tripp; three grandchildren, Jan Sharp David Lorton and Gregory Tripp; four brothers and four sisters.</strong>

<strong>         Susie was a faithful member of the Anna First Baptist church for more than sixty years, she lovingly worked in the church nursery for over twenty years. Susie served on the Fellowship Committee for many</strong>

<strong>years. She always provided homemade bread for the meals and funeral dinners at the church.</strong>

<strong>         Susie will be remembered by all the many families for whom she ironed clothing for; for over sixty five years.</strong>

<strong>         Funeral services for Mrs. Susie Isabel Earnhart Tripp Batson will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 6, 2012 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. Les Sinks officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Memorial contributions may be made to the Anna First Baptist Church Family Ministry Fund. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.        </strong>
