Vaccine clinic set in Mounds
Meridian School District No. 101 in Mounds and the Illinois Department of Public Heath are planning to host a free Pfizer Covid-19 clinic.
The clinic is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 24.
The Meridian High School clinic will be in the library on site at 1401 Mounds Rd.
Organizers said that signs outside the buildings will show the appropriate areas to enter the school. Parking will be available.
The partners provide the opportunity to get a first or second shot to the parents, students 12 or older and community members. Free Pfizer vaccinations will be available.
Student permission slips for vaccines are available.
The partnership members of participating organizations are providing these opportunities to the community as new case numbers climb.
