W. P. “Bud” Rendleman
<p style="text-indent: 0.5in; line-height: 150%;" class="MsoNormal"><strong style=""><span style="font-family: Cambria;">Mr. W. P. “Bud” Rendleman, age 91 of Anna, died at 1:55 p.m. Thursday, November 3, 2011 at the Anna Rehab & Nursing Center. <span style=""> </span>He was born December 27, 1919 the son of William Jacob and Edith Bradley Rendleman in Wolf Lake.<span style=""> </span> He married Irene “Tootie” Reischauer on April 2, 1942 in Jackson, MO and according to Bud “there was never one single cross word between them”.</span></strong></p>
<p style="text-indent: 0.5in; line-height: 150%;" class="MsoNormal"><strong style=""><span style="font-family: Cambria;">Bud is survived by his wife, Tootie Rendleman of Anna; two sons, William Paul “Bill” (Brenda) Rendleman, Jr. of Mt. Vernon and Darryl (Brenda) Rendleman of Anna; 1 brother, Lee Roy “Leepy” (Marla) Rendleman of Jonesboro; 5 grandchildren, Troy Rendleman of Savoy, Dr. Todd Rendleman of Seattle, WA, Courtney (Jeff) Ray of Anna, Mandy (Daniel) Page of Anna, and Tara (Paul) Haas of Anna; 6 great-grandchildren, Megan and Sydney Ray, Avery and Drew Page, and Trey and Halle Haas; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many, many friends.<span style=""> </span> He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother, Troy Rendleman; and 1 sister, Bonnie Jackson; and a great-grandson, Maddox Gabriel Haas.</span></strong></p>
<p style="text-indent: 0.5in; line-height: 150%;" class="MsoNormal"><strong style=""><span style="font-family: Cambria;">Bud was a member of Wolf Lake United Methodist Church.<span style=""> </span> He was also a member of the Jonesboro Masonic Lodge #111 AF & AM, the Scottish Rite Bodies Valley of Southern Illinois, and the Ainad Shrine Temple.<span style=""> </span> He served as a board member for the Harrisburg Production Credit Association, the Union County Hospital Board, and the Shawnee High School Board of Education District 81.<span style=""> </span> He was a Democratic Precinct Committeeman in Wolf Lake for many years as well as Union County Board of Commissioners for 14 years. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and University of Illinois basketball fan.</span></strong></p>
<p style="text-indent: 0.5in; line-height: 150%;" class="MsoNormal"><strong style=""><span style="font-family: Cambria;">Funeral services for W. P. “Bud” Rendleman will be at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. Stephanie Voss officiating.<span style=""> </span> Interment will be in the Anna City Cemetery.<span style=""> </span> Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home.<span style=""> </span> Memorials may be made to Wolf Lake United Methodist Church or Wolf Lake Community Park.<span style=""> </span> Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.</span></strong></p>
