<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;">W.C. “Bill” Meggs, Jr, 62, of McClure, died at 10:27 PM Tuesday, December 14, 2010at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;"> </span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;">He was born October 26, 1948 in Wynne, AR to William and Zella (Robertson) Meggs.<span style=""> </span> He married Diana Williams in November 2005.<span style=""> </span> She preceded him in death July 16, 2010.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;"> </span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;">Bill was a member of the Rock Springs Free Will Baptist Church of Thebes.<span style=""> </span></span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;"> </span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;">He is survived by 2 brothers, Ted Meggs of Thebes and Anthony Wayne (Sue) Meggs of Wickliffe, KY;</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;">4 sisters, Brenda (Stan) Turner of Millersville, Mo, Rosemary Insera of Cape Girardeau, Mo, Imogene (Rick) Snell of Carbondale, IL and Lenora (Don) Lovell of Metropolis, IL.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;">Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;"> </span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;">He preceded by his parents, wife, 5 brothers Bob, Jesse, Johnnie, Billie-Joe and James.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;"> </span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;">Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 PM on Friday December 17, 2010 at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;"> </span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;">Funeral Services will be Saturday December 18, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms with Bishop Jerry Whitaker officiating.<span style=""> </span> Interment will be in Olive Branch Cemetery.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;">Memorials may be made to Rock Springs Free Will Baptist Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.</span></strong></p>
